Step 1: Complete the Application:

Fill out the online application thoroughly with completed essays, information, recommender information, and preferred one-on-one interview times.

Step 2: Individual Interview

Selected applicants will be invited to a one-on-one interview with a representative of New Student & Family Program, where applicants will be evaluated on their potential to be a successful Peer Leader and review their past teaching experiences.

Step 3: Training

While Returning Peer Leaders do not have specific training. They will need to maintain constant communication with New Student and Family Programs and attend all programmatic meetings.

Note: Returning Peer Leaders who are also applying to serve as a Lead Educator and/or Mentor should complete that application first. If you are selected to serve as a Lead Educator or Mentor then you will automatically be selected as a Returning Peer Leader. If you are not selected as a Lead Educator or Mentor, then you will be asked to complete this application.
